Kerala University College of Teacher Education, Anchal
The College is situated in the campus close to the Goverment H.S.S, Anchal West. It is approximately 45 kms away from the Kollam Railway station and 70 kms from the Thiruvananthapuram International Air Port.
The Goverment of Kerala are pleased to grant N O C vide
G.O. No.42/2004/H.Education dated 8.3.2004 for conducting B.Ed Degree Course at KUCTE, Anchal with the intake approved by the NCTE.
As per NCTE order No. I.K.L/SEC/SRO/NCTE/2005-06 dt. 17.5.2005, the sanctioned strength of the college is 165 every year.As the admission is strictly on the basis of merit students from almost all districts of kerala get admitted here.Thus the college campus presents a cross section of the contemporary Kerala society.
Management
Established in 1994, the University College of Teacher Education Anchal is managed directly by the University of Kerala. The Registrar, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram is the manager of the institution.
